Charlie Uglietto receives the prestigious Jack Sullivan Award for Fuel Industry Excellence

In August 2025, during NEFI’s Legends Dinner at the HEAT Show held at the Encore Boston Harbor Hotel in Everett, Massachusetts, Charlie Uglietto—owner of Cubby Oil & Energy—was honored as the inaugural recipient of the Jack Sullivan Award for Fuel Industry Excellence. This new accolade, established by the National Energy & Fuels Institute (NEFI) in tribute to the late John Francis “Jack” Sullivan II, recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional advocacy and dedication to advancing the fuel industry. NEFI President & CEO Jim Collura lauded Uglietto’s leadership in promoting renewable liquid heating fuels and ensuring the industry’s competitiveness for future generations, noting that he exemplifies the forward-thinking spirit Sullivan championed.
