Cubby Oil Introduces a Military Discount
In honor of World War Two Veteran and Cubby Co-Founder Anthony "Tony" Uglietto (read more), Cubby Oil Company now offers a discount of 5 cents a gallon off the price of fuel oil for military automatic delivery customers. This is our way of thanking our armed forces for their service to our country.

Oil Line Law
Homeowners have until September 30, 2011 to upgrade their home heating system equipment to comply with new Massachusetts state law. In order to decrease the likelihood of an oil spill, the law requires the installation of an oil safety valve or an oil supply line with a protective sleeve. You can find much more information about the law on the MassDEP website.
We have been notifying customers about the new law, and recommending that they have their oil lines certified and/or upgraded before the September deadline. Not doing so may compromise your safety and also make you liable for very expensive oil leak clean-up. If your oil heating system was installed after January 1, 1990 you may already be under compliance.

Cubby Oil will sponsor a Business After Hours for the Somerville Chamber of Commerce at the Mount Vernon Restaurant & Pub on Thursday, October 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
There is no charge for attendance. Free appetizers will be provided, and there will be a cash bar. There will also be a free gift certificate raffle.
Guests do not have to be a member of the Chamber to attend this excellent business networking opportunity.

In September, Cubby Oil was the proud community sponsor for the Italian Night of East Somerville Main Streets' Under the Stars International Movie Nights.
